I run the regional Arts Council. We hold various painting events for adults throughout the year. One of our patrons had asked if she can bring her 7 year old daughter along due to a last minute cancellation of her baby sitter that night. I told her that she was welcome to have her daughter join in? The mother was afraid that the subject matter a bit advanced for her daughter and was prepared. The child proudly displayed her Giggling Pig Art Box. I have seen them before but never being utilized... While the parents painted away, the child proudly launched into her painting. Everyone was amazed at her confident approach to tackling the subject matter onto her canvas. I was quite impressed with her creative enthusiasm. Usually kids lose interest in the creative process, especially when doing something different than their parents. This little art box not only kept her occupied, It instilled a confidence that she can do anything! In the days of electronic gizmos, Thats something lacking in todays world. It was inspirational to watch, for all us grown ups...
We want one too!
